I am beyond excited to announce the secret project I’ve been dreaming up for the last few months!! It’s finally here: The Baja Sur Writing Retreat, from February 17 - 22, 2023. For 5 nights and 6 days, we’ll gather together outside of the dreamy desert town of Todos Santos to go deep into our writing process. I’ve got so many fun plans I’m cooking up! Not only will I lead you through a series of writing workshops that encompass many forms of expression, from journalism to creative writing, but I’ll also show you my tried-and-true spiritual practices like embodied journaling and breathwork. These practices are my most profound gateways to access my creativity and the reason I’m able to write at the level and frequency I do. You can also expect hikes to deserted beaches, a private yoga class, a special sound healing ceremony, and more. And it gets even better! We’ll have the award-winning photographer and one of my dearest friends, @nomadic_habit, photographing the experience (who took most of the photos you see here!!). You’ll have access to these images, too! And my girl @jessi.chappell of @tarotdebaja will also lead us through a tarot-inspired creative writing workshop that is going to be out-of-this-world awesome. It’s no coincidence the last day of the retreat is on 02-22—talk about alignment! ✨ The magic that will be present when we all gather together is going to be so profound and deep, especially in a home base where we can see humpback whales breach in the distance and feel so wild and free in the open desert.
