Revision 1 of the custom front splined sway bar setup, still a work in progress. This was certainly a challenge. Almost no room to fit the arm or end link but this works, somewhat. The end links are super nice, from @eibach_world. If you didn't know, you can spec out whatever size, length and type of bearings you want directly on their site! That made this custom setup super easy. Some nice features are the HD Aurora bearings, knurled aluminum rod and a cut to signify an inverted thread. I'm using a 1.25" x 0.095" wall splined bar with ASR spherical mounts which bolt the bar down on top of the frame rails where my cage guy welded a plate with two m8 weld nuts. The sway bar arms are speedway Engineering 48 spline steel 30 deg, which are heavy as F. I had to cut a lot off to get them to fit. Ideally, I'd get them remade out of aluminum. There's literally no space on the back side so I threaded the holes to bolt the end link directly to them. Still need to clean them up and paint. This setup works ok but at full droop the link angle gets extreme. At ride height, there's no concern. I'd love to fit the link on the other side of the LCA but clearance is super tight between the LCA and radius rod. I might try thinner rod end spacers and see of i can make that work. I might spec an even longer end link as well to level the arm a little more. The good news is, everything clears throughout the suspension travel range and all steering angles! ____________________________________________________________ #HybridRacing #EKR82 #EG #Ferio #JTCC #Sedan #GridlifeTouringCup #GLTC #HeelToeAutomotive #K24 #Kseries #HondaRacing #PoweredByHonda #Honda #Civic #Si #TypeR #CTR #ITR #VTEC #JDM #Kanjo #HondaNation #TrackStance #Import #Racecar #BecauseRacecar #CarPorn #Motorsport
