To create the 'Qualia kimono' dress subtle shifts in yellow color gradients are dyed and lasercut into stained-glass influenced frames to then be infused with transparent glass-organza, to softly float away from the seemingly naked body.
For the ‘Ovidius' dress, plantlike body embellishments are 3D-printed with SLS technology and electroplated with copper to then be draped with ocher colored overstock organza into a short asymmetric silhouette that grows from the chest outwards, diffusing the creation of plant and bone structures growing together.
The ‘Arachne' bodice is made from upcycled mylar that is heatbonded with upcycled white poly-silk and three dimensionally lasercut to then be stitched into a bustier that expands into hundreds of loose threads that float and spin around the body while moving. Fine crystal beads are embroidered to the tips of each lasercut quill.
For the 'Ananda-Maya' gown three dimensional white skeletalized embroidery swirls asymmetrically from the center of the bodice expanding into transparent white tulle that is delicately pleated and voluminously draped to float around the face, creating a dramatic patchwork of soft shadows.
