Meet Joyce, Wanita’s incredible Mother, and a woman who continuously inspires us 💞 Joyce is the proud mother of Wanita and Wallace, both who have autism, and is their number one cheerleader. As a fierce advocate for inclusion, Joyce hopes “that everyone understands the special situation of my children (some unexpected situations of autistic children), and I hope that everyone will not treat them differently and accept their special behaviors with respect and tolerance.” She’s taught both her children the importance of always believing in themselves and their abilities—which is very evident as Wanita can be often heard saying “Don’t give up, try it again, I am a great girl.” 💜
