The Self portrait exhibition showcasing at the HOME gallery @home_by_ronanmckenzie in collaboration with wepresent opens May 13th to June 27th 🤎 Pleased to present my self portrait titled ‘SEED’. Currently, my work places nature at the forefront, we are symbiotic. Turning the lens onto myself taught me that self confidence is a journey and not a destination. For a while, a handful of you have seen this journey evolve, my creativity centered Black women & joy. I came from a thriving group of flower powered women who played a massive part in my understanding of self and industry values as a photographer & creative director. This photograph means a lot to me, I chose colours that boosted my serotonin (I hope I have boosted yours). My self portrait embodies growth, renewal & understanding seasonal adjustments, rain or shine you are forever In Bloom. I felt empowered by my newest & dearest friend @H_cato who is also a photographer, every click, Holly made sure I flourished in front of the lens.
