During the rainy season, millions of pounds of plastic waste washes on the shores of Guatemala after traveling down the Rio Motagua, one of the most polluted rivers in the world. Next week, the 4ocean Operations Team will be traveling to visit our Guatemala cleanup facility. For the past 2 years, we've been mobilizing our local cleanup crew to tackle plastic pollution on Guatemala's beaches.
