Best part of the shitbox livery is I can clean the car with 600 grit sandpaper! Takes the rubber marks and primer right off in a swipe! Real talk, check out that fucking hood, its mint! Can't believe this same hood took a direct hit into a concrete wall (see last pick) and now looks like this. Fixed the two major cracks, shaved the 4 old hood pin locations, remade the corner, primed and sanded. This hood is a damn tank lol. Got it from Frank's Fiberglass like 6 years ago. This thing survived two hood pin-less events (flew up and shattered windshield), and then the EG wreck. And honestly, after the wreck it wasn't that bad. For those curious, yes a hatch hood is shorter than a sedan hood. If you bolt a hatch hood to the hinges, it sits too far back. Luckily for me, the wreck blew out the hinge mounts so I got creative. Replaced the rear hinges with hood pins. So now I have a pin in each corner. Makes removing the hood a pita but it is what it is. Also got a new mustang hood vent to install after the wrap.
