The story behind this collection is as old as my foray into the world of fashion, and it began perhaps unsurprisingly, with a piece of fabric that is seen here! One that I have been hesitant to touch, and yet which has always beckoned me to caress its secretive folds. This 2-metre-long fabric was gifted to me in the early days of my career and throughout my ups and downs, the highs and lows, this piece of cloth, brilliant in motif and colours, has waited for me patiently all these years in the deepest recesses of my cupboard. so finally after 20 years in my keep i decided to use it and celebrate what the fabric is to me personally to the rest of the world!
