Drink up!​​​​​​​​ Put down the sugary soft drinks, the fancy teas & kombucha...the number 1 priority for your bod AND your skin is getting plenty of quality H20! Aim to drink half your body weight in ounces for proper hydration.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ 2. Eat your fruits & veggies ​​​​​​​​ Your mom wasn't just trying to torture you...eating a variety of fruits & veggies DAILY will do your body AND your skin good! ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ 3. Avoid foods that irritate your skin​​​​​​​​ It seems like a no-brainer but so many of us know the consequences of eating certain things and STILL insist on reaching for the offending foods! ​​​​​​​​ A good rule of thumb is to avoid dairy, processed sugars, and excessive caffeine. And of course, any foods you know that you're allergic to! ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ 4. Get those Zzzzzzz​​​​​​​​ Getting the proper amount of sleep and rest is crucial for looking AND feeling your best. 8 hours a night is recommended but you know your body best, if you need more...get it! During the daytime, be sure to take mini-breaks often, especially if you spend a lot of time in front of a screen​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ 5. Quit Smoking & ​​​​​​​​ Drink Alcohol in Moderation​​​​​​​​ If you're still smoking those cigs please consider quitting, not only for your health but for your SKIN...premature fine lines & wrinkles and dull, grey skin sooo aren't the vibe.​​​​​​​​ As for alcohol, drink responsibly & in moderation.
