Our traditional Binakol fabric is woven by the Mang Abel Ti Abra community in the Northern Philippines — a group of mothers who pass down age-old weaving traditions to their daughters, helping preserve this special craft and culture. The quake severely affected the Mang Abel Ti Abra community so much so they are sleeping outside amongst the rubble that was once their homes. As strong as the quake was, so is the spirit of the Filipino people.
