From my first chapel I ever photographed at Emmanuel! I came across these other day and was actually impressed. I’ve definitely come a long way, but these shots hold something special… It’s also cool to look back at these shots and reflect on how the people in these photos have grown individually and also how my relationships with the people in these photos have grown since I’ve taken them. For some, it was the first time we ever met and now these are the same people I couldn’t imagine not having in my life today! It’s cool to see how my skill has evolved. Here I only had this camera for a few months. Hadn’t done much stage photography. I was still learning the settings, the room, and editing. I don’t think I actually intended for some of these photos to be blurry😅 but it worked out none the less! I’ve grown so much yet my style still remains true… same vibe different font lol I didn’t realize how creative these shots were! Haven’t really played around with motion blur in Chapel as much as I would’ve liked to recently. This re-lit a fire in me and honestly inspired me to use the creativity that God has given me more in my art. Obviously, when I took these, I was younger. But isn’t that how we’re supposed to live? With childlike faith! This reminded me that my photography is an are to, something meant for me to enjoy and not just my job. The creative freedom that I had and got to explore at YQ over the summer with motion blur and double exposure and flash (etc.) sort of got lost in translation as I got back into routine here at school, but that shouldn’t be the case. Nor do I want it to be. These shots here are art. They are real, they hold emotion and they capture true worship. In 2026 I don’t want to just take photos, I want to create art! And more importantly art that can vary the presence of God! • • • #abstractphotography #christiancreative Georgia #worshipphotography #churchphotography #motionblurphotography dddphotographi
