September 2 2022 Ne, Liguria @la_brinca with @zestofitaly @chesterhastings and Tommy Yracheta This was an absolutely incredible experience which lasted all of seven hours. In the hills outside of Portofino we arrive in the tiny town of Ne where Sergio Circella, owner of @la_brinca trattoria, meets with us a couple hours before dinner service. We also meet his twin sons, @matteo.circella the sommelier and Simone the chef @livo90 The family has lived in Ne back to the 1800’s and the name of the restaurant is taken from the last woman who lived in the building before it was converted from a home to a restaurant. @la_brinca is a temple of Ligurian culinary culture and history, honoring the traditional and the obscure.
