me and big @celiatupinamba in the opening of @royalcollegeofart masters photography show 💐 I’m so happy to finally be able to present this beautiful work I have been developing with Glicéria Tupinambá (who sadly couldn’t be with us this opening but watch this space) this week at my degree show. From London, Rio, São Paulo and Bahia, studying online for such a long time during the pandemic and also working freelance was a huge challenge but also a great opportunity to be able to produce the work I always wanted, to be able to talk about Brasil being there. I am so thankful for this experience and all of those involved in making it happen, and for all of the beautiful friends I have made on the way - special shout to @wardsimon_ who is the soul and bones of the photography department; @tomlovelacestudio and @hermionewiltshire for guiding me through this river; @melo_onny and @diegovalente for always being available for me; @opeitodope and @amortagua for being my shoulders and ride or die (or “wanna go to bahia with me to meet the cape?”); @rodrigo_k_duarte for the (sometimes though) love and @katialib1 for the unconditional support and @celiatupinamba for sharing with me your family, history, home, friendship and making it all worth it.
