“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
After six unforgettable years, it’s time to say goodbye to club volleyball. This chapter of my life that has shaped me in ways words can’t explain. This sport became my second home and the people I met along the way became more than just teammates, they became family.
To the friends who turned into sisters, thank you for the laughter, the tears, the car rides, dance parties, and late-night love island watch parties that made every moment unforgettable.
To Coach Drew, thank you for pushing me to be my best every single day. Thank you for believing in me. Your fire, your passion, and your expectations shaped not just the player, but the person I am today.
To Coach Tiffany, you have been my rock, my mentor, and my second mom. You’ve poured so much of yourself into me, into this sport, and into helping me achieve my dreams. I don’t know where I would be without your support, your love, and your belief in me. You are the reason I kept going, the reason I fell deeper in love with this game, and the reason I leave this club with no regrets. I am forever grateful for every moment you invested in me. You changed my life. @coach_tedwards
And to Houston Skyline, thank you for being more than just a club. Thank you for being my support system, my foundation, and my safe place. You gave me a space to grow, to learn, and to become something bigger than myself. I’ll always be proud to have worn your name on my jersey. @houstonskyline
Though this chapter is closing, the memories, the lessons, and the love I’ve gained will stay with me forever. I may be moving on, but I’ll never forget where I came from. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Wisconsin, here I come. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds.
