Was looking at my camera roll tonight and realized that Im so behind on grid posting (...) So bear with me as I start sharing few highlights of what has been the most inspiring time I had in a long time. I took my first real break in 6 years with absolutely no work, dedicating my entire summer to enjoying myself with my loved ones and just looking at my surroundings. As much as I love my work with @tongorostudio , growing and taking a business to a steady place requires a lot of repetitive tasks that often quiet the exciting and unpredictable spiraling creative process that I enjoy so much. So I had to remind myself that rest is mandatory to get my juices flowing again. I spent quite some time reading and appreciating the works of contemporary African artists, and I love the moment the creativity of the continent is having.
