Mother’s Day is two weeks away. I’m not waiting to celebrate the becoming that’s already taking place. Motherhood didn’t just ask me to love harder. It demanded that I heal deeper, surrender faster, and stretch further than I ever thought possible. If you’re in it too, take a breath. Look at who you’ve become. You are capable of MORE than you’ve ever imagined (and you give yourself credit for), and look at how much more you have to give even when you are running on empty. This season, before the noise hits, take inventory. Name one way you’ve grown. Ask someone who loves you what they see in you now. Let yourself be seen and listen to what they say.
