What’s this place? ⤵️ The Galleria is an internal courtyard of Palazzo Sciarra, a noble family palace from the 1500s. This is one of the most photogenic corners of Rome in liberty style that was going around at the end of the 1800s. It has a sort of a British look. This Gallery was a celebration of the typical role model of a woman at the end of the 1800s. On these walls you can see the virtues that a typical role model of a woman in the 1800s should have had: "Pudica", she should have been pudic; "Sobria", sober. She should have been good at gardening, taking care of the house and also being a loving daughter.
