One of my favourite fascinations about Iceland. The braided glacier river networks. I always spend a lot of time on google earth scouting the land trying to find as many interesting colours and patterns as possible. Unique minerals from the melting glaciers such as sulphur and iron entwined with the shallow river beds create some truly stunning patterns and colours when seen from the sky!
