Had a great time taking photos for @nytimes and thank you @ga.briella being able to capture these photos that shows exactly who I am and what I represent. Being able to compete at the highest level in my sport takes a certain amount of discipline, control, dominance , and mental toughness. Having those qualities and paring them with compassion, grace, femininity, and simply a boss b*tch mentality is completly who I am. Being a black female athlete the cards are stacked us against us which is why I look in the mirror everyday and can be proud of who I am, how I look, and how I carry myself.👸🏽👸🏽✨💗.
