'Looking at Lacoste' Lacoste is a cypher. One of those medieval stone villages perched on a steep hillside overlooking the Luberon valley in the South of France, it seemed to be asleep. Apparences are deceiving. Behind the cozy, interlocking layers of houses, Lacoste is a beehive, home to over 200 students from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). Since 2002, the university has carved out a campus, hidden behind the ancient walls of the village with state-of-the-art ateliers for cinema, architecture, textiles, fine arts, graphics, photography and more.
