Learning from our nations top leaders with not only 1 but 2 presidents - @potus @barackobama to @vp to Latinx leaders like Senator @alexpadilla4ca to AG @agbecerra Congresswoman @aoc to agency leaders overseeing our entire US Dept of Commerce @ginaraimondo and activist leaders like @doloreshuertafd gives me hope that civic engagement matters, that VOTING matters & it works! Even when the news or current headlines are devastating day in & day out - know that there leaders that want to serve a bigger purpose than themselves and need our voices & stories shared. Some that have similar journeys of being the first ones & at times the only ones but definitely not the last who are encouraging the next gen to be part of this #democracy where our leaders reflect our diverse communities. . My heart beats for public service and gives me hope of what this nation could be if we encourage more bold, smart, empathic future leaders to serve in public sector. . . I hope that if you can register to vote, #register I hope that if you can vote, #vote. If you can volunteer as a poll worker in your community, #volunteer. If you can help educate your friends & family on what’s at stage these #midterms, #educate. If you can run for office, #run. . . There are 41 days and less to mobilize. See you at the 🗳! .
