Our beloved Sahara has continued her journey from this life to the next. She went peacefully surrounded by love but this is still one of the hardest losses I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never had my life impacted so much by dog. But she was so much more than a dog or pet... she was family and I don’t meant this figuratively, she was literally my best friend. I spent all day every day with her. I would talk to her, sing to her, dance with her, & even fight (yes fight we were both sassy lol). But nothing compared to the unconditional love she gave us. She was truly one of a kind. The only dog I know that hated chemtrails, hugs, & getting pets. I’m going to miss our days together. Especially her greeting any time we came home. I definitely think she was Saimas soulmate, together for 16 years, those two were two peas in a pod. I was blessed to know Sahara for the past 8 years and was lucky she decided I was worthy enough for her to share Saima with. The three of us built a beautiful life together. Sahara would come with us everywhere - camping, parties, paddle-boarding and even on road trips to Mexico. Someone once told me dogs don’t care about living a long life, just a happy one. & she definitely did. Lots more senti posts coming so sorry in advance. Thank you everyone who’s called and texted, sent flowers, and stopped by. I know Sahara touched a lot of lives not just ours & she will live forever in our hearts ❤️
