Yesterday we left an empty house for the last time. If you’ve read my book, “How Are You, Really?” then you’ll know that we moved nearly five years ago after I had a vision of a baby girl giggling, pancakes and a Persian rug. We packed our boxes, left a town we and community loved, for a farm house we found online and moved home to Minnesota. The day after we moved in, I took a pregnancy test and discovered I was pregnant. 😭😭 Hear me loud and clear: You don’t have to pick up your life and move zip codes away to step into a new dream. Start where you can, when you can. You don’t need to go big, but you need to go. This home held so many memories for us! It was where we brought our babies home, hosted pizza parties and family nights, where I recorded my podcast in the closet and wrote my book on the couch. That home held our lives for the last five years. We are so excited for the next chapter and to move into our dream home!
