15 years ago I declared that *some day* I would show my paintings in Jackson, WY. I can hardly believe it but that dream has finally come true!! I am delighted to join the team of artists at @gallery.wild in Jackson, WY. This is a massive *pinch me* moment, and I share this not only so you can *hopefully* visit the gallery and maybe even bring one of my paintings home with you... but also as a reminder that all of our dreams are worth pursuing, even if it takes a long time for them to come true. I have been working on these paintings for well over a year. Paintings that flowed out of me with love and intention, paintings I somehow knew I had to hold onto for a little while, even though I didn't know why... But I think I did know, deep down, that these pieces were destined for somewhere I couldn’t yet imagine. One of my favorite sayings is "write your dreams in pen and your method in pencil," and I did just that. I created space in my thoughts to call in the perfect location to show and sell these paintings. I really didn't know when or how that would happen. After so much thought on the very best fit, @charles_post reached out to @gallery.wild . We held our breath. And finally, our patience was rewarded. A phone call and a lot of laughs + stories later, they invited me to join the Gallery. To see if it was a good fit. And I know in my bones that it is. The energy of the owners and employees, the colorful work of the other artists, the space, the spirit of Jackson... The fact that I’ve been obsessively painting the Tetons for ten years... It truly feels so aligned and I am SO proud that I trusted in the emptiness and silence between making these paintings, and finding a place for them to live until they go to their forever homes. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kind words (I shared this news with my newsletter subscribers yesterday!) To some this may not sound like a big deal, but to me it is one of the most exciting moments in my art career.
