My top travel tips to feel your best ⬇️
It sounds crazy to admit, and despite my love for it - travel used to give me a lot of anxiety. As a creature of habit, being out of routine for a prolonged period felt overwhelming.
But as I’ve gotten older and deepened my relationship with myself—my thoughts, my body, my rhythms—I’ve started to love the break in routine.
I now get excited about leaning into rest, exploration, and new experiences. I love the long deep sleeps, no early alarms, and no rigidity. I love absorbing the local culture, moving intuitively, wandering through nature, and exploring with curiosity.
To keep myself feeling grounded, present, and energized while traveling, I’ve built little rituals that support me wherever I am:
- Drink 32oz of water every morning
- Take my supplements
- Get sunlight right away when I wake up
- Move my body (a walk, or a quick 20–30 min bodyweight workout if I can - I love @form & @pyrosport for this)
- Eat lots of fruit in the morning for digestion
- Prioritize veggies & protein for fuel
- Stay hydrated all day long
- Opt for walking whenever possible
- Find time for rest - or time for reading
- Treat each meal like an adventure—try the local food, but balance it with a side of veggies
It’s not about being rigid—it’s about creating enough structure to feel my best, so I can fully enjoy the freedom of travel!!
