National Get Checked Day 👩‍⚕️ I know I drum on about the importance of getting symptoms checked but it’s because it’s SO IMPORTANT! In the lead up to my diagnosis my main symptoms were fatigue, weight loss and headaches. I could have easily dismissed these with other explanations - stress, anxiety, being a new mum..... Luckily my family could see the differences and encouraged me to see the GP. In the majority of cases these symptoms are innocent and related to everyday illnesses and conditions. But surely it’s better to check right? An early diagnosis can save lives 💛 So on this important national day, please go and get checked if you have any lingering symptoms. You know your body better than anyone - if it looks or feels different then go and see your GP.
