My new favourite painting .. I finished it this week. It was originally a lake in Austria. I thought the colours were very Austrian.. very Egon Schiele.. (a teenage love of mine) I liked my abstract lake and green black mountains so much that it it took me months to pluck up the courage to paint over them. Courage .. a strange word and a strange emotion /motivation .. I don’t really know what it is.. but the fact that I have to use mine to paint , makes me realise how much it all means to me. I’m not exaggerating., I realise that’s why I needed to drink before when I painted .. Dutch courage . (I haven’t drank for two and a half years) God the satisfaction I get now when I’ve taken the leap.. It’s all my mind and soul.. my emotions.. I’m pushing myself with out fear., jumping and then flying ... The only thing to compete with this feeling is love and this painting is all about love .. This is how I feel 🙏🏼
