“My company is called Samreens Vanity. It’s a color cosmetic line. I was a makeup artist before. After I had my first chid, I went into a real severe depression. It’s hard to understand because you know - we’re expected to be these super women right after you have the baby. ⁠ ⁠ I always save this but makeup saved my life, and I talk about it more and more because I feel like all of us should feel comfortable talking about mental health, especially as moms. We have to liberate each other by telling [each other] that it’s okay to feel shitty. I realize how much more it did for me personally for my mental health than how it made me look. ⁠ ⁠ I woke up and I was like I’m going to have my own cosmetic line, and one day, we are going to end up in a retail store. We just landed on QVC this year!
