If you’re lucky, every now and again a film comes along that completely shifts the paradigm as to what film can be. Most recently RRR was that film for me. I walked out of the theater pretending to shoot my own bow and arrow, wanting to dance, wanting to be MORE. Yes, the film has unparalleled action sequences that are coupled with passion and purpose,an infectious bromance at its center AND there’s SINGING AND DANCING (!!!) but what the film really confirmed for me is that we are capable of so much more and it is incumbent upon us to find a way to access that expansiveness to make the world better. There is more to the universe than meets the eye. I had the extraordinary honor to meet the filmmaker SS Rajamouli. He was kind and patient in the face my abject fandom. He is an extraordinary artist. For those four people who haven’t already seen the film do yourself a favor and find it wherever it may be. You’ll feel bigger and brighter for it. For those who HAVE seen it, IYKYK. Rise. Roar. Revolt. #RRR
