#howtomake Dhaba Style Channa Daal ๐ (Split Chickpeas)
This dhaba style channa daal is a family favourite ๐ So delicious and packed with protein. You can enjoy it with naan or rice ๐ซถ๐ผ SAVE the post for the recipe!
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 cup Split Chickpeas (boiled)
- 1/4 cup Oil
- Whole spices (Black peppercorns, Cloves, Cumin seeds, Cinnamon)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tsp Salt or taste
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 3 tbsp Yoghurt
- 1/2 cup Water
- Coriander and green chillies
METHOD
- Sauteฬ whole spices and onions until golden brown. Then, add gg paste and mix well.
- Add tomatoes, yoghurt and spices and cook until the oil separates. Then, add boiled split chickpeas and combine well.
- Cover and cook for 15 mins on medium flame. Garnish with coriander, green chillies and garam masala. Enjoy!
