And that’s a wrap! Well...kind of. The official #downtoedit contest with @epidemicsound closed last night with over 350 entries, and I’m blown away by the talent and effort put into these. I’ve decided to extend the deadline one more week, for two new categories. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The first category is a wild card. There’s no specific criteria for this aside from something that makes me say “Wow”. An example would be a wild transition, an incredible sound design or a video that makes me laugh. The second category is for an Up and Comer. This is somebody with two years or less in the film world, who’s just getting started. The prizing and details can be found on the website.
