[Watch] Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a man revered for decades fro his tireless commitment to fighting too civil rights and racial and social justice. As our nation and numerous nations around the world continue to fight in the struggle for freedom and basic human rights, we celebrate King's contribution to each and every one of us. One of my favorite speeches ever is his famed 'I Have a Dream' speech. It was hearing this rhetorical masterpiece for the first time that inspired me to actively pursue competitive speech and debate. It was this work of iconic excellence that taught me to use my voice always. It was this brilliance in civil rights history that has lead me to my career path today in DEI.
