Iceland was a trip of a life time. We saw the island in the most simplistic way and enjoyed the scenery while taking in each other’s company. We explored during the low times of the day and ended up having most of the popular places and hikes all to ourselves. Days were spent outside hiking, taking afternoon naps, driving, and cooking meals in our van. Although we saw most of the island there are a few places I can’t wait to see in the future. Some things I’m keen to see are the Highlands, more of the West Fjords and watch the northern lights. Iceland is such a rugged and beautiful country that I can’t wait to explore more of in the future.
