My Granny turned 102 yesterday in England. She is the definition of strength and determination. When I lived in London when I was 22, I was very lonely and she was my best friend. Granny loved going to museums, the theater and the movies. She also loved dressing up and going to parties. She told me her “when she met the Queen story” about 40 times 😀 she would fall asleep in every show we went to. My favorite story was when we went to see Maria, Full of Grace- a story about a young girl who was a drug mule, carrying drugs In her private parts. It was an incredibly violent story and granny snored throughout the movie. Granny holds nothing back- she will tell you exactly as it is. I like to think I inherited that from her-maybe in a softer way 🤣 she loved travel and her friends..she doesn’t say “I love you”, but you always feel it. She just wasn’t raised that way. I miss her-it’s been a long time since I’ve seen her-I’m happy to know she still loves her ice cream ❤️ Happy Birhday Granny!
