5 years ago today... we burnt! In the wee morning of August 26th, 2017 our smokehouse and kitchen were destroyed by an ember that was wisped from a firebox, due to high winds from hurricane Harvey. We came back pretty quickly (3 months later) but we always remember August 26th as “Fire Day” and try to bring a treat to firefighters who are working in the Austin area, as a thank you and remembrance of that day.
