6️⃣ things I likely said in therapy sessions this past week.
At their core, all of these reminders slow things down and soften self-judgment. They create space to move from shame and isolation toward curiosity, validation, and self-compassion. Instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?” they invite the gentler question: “What’s happening for me, and what do I need right now?”
Together, they remind us that healing doesn’t come from being harder on ourselves, but from feeling seen, understood, and allowed to be human. Change becomes possible not when we erase the pain, but when we stop fighting ourselves in the middle of it. 💛
