Israel, I have fallen in love with you <3 🇮🇱 Yet again I am blessed with an amazing experience, and the only one to thank is simply God. He has taught and showed me so much this trip, there are simply not enough words. Before going I thought Israel was going to be this magical place, I thought as soon as my plane landed that a feeling would just overwhelm me and I would be just radically changed. Spoiler alert, that didn’t happen. There was no magical feeling. But, I can tell you what I did feel and see. The star on the floor marking where a virgin gave birth to a baby in a manger. The water and the mud in the Jordon River where Jesus was baptized. The trees and the mountain where Jesus gave the sermon on the mount. The dirt and the 8 olive trees from the garden of Gethsemani where Jesus was arrested. The stone walls on the Via Dolorosa where Jesus carried his cross to his death. The rock of Golgotha where the cross of crucifixion was put on a hill. Most important of all, I saw the tomb that was found empty just three days after.
