it's about that time. 7.29.22 - I put my uniform on for the last time. People/Service members would always ask me "are you a for lifer?" meaning am I going to serve 20 years or more in the Army. I would respond with "I will serve until I can't or a passion grows stronger else where." Both of these reason just so happened to come about at the same time. If you didn't know, I am medically retiring and have served honorably for the US Army as a Human Resources and Chemical Officer since 2013. While this transition was not planned and this process EXTREMELY challenging, I happy to say I am officially over the hump and can truly embrace the goodness that comes with my active service ending. I've received an overwhelming amount of support from you all and I just want to say WOW! Some of the messages/love you all have sent/shown me not just now but over the years have really kept me going! I am glad I could be an inspiration to you all while wearing this uniform and pray that I encourage you and inspire you just the same now that I have taken it off! My journey is not over not, it is just beginning and I look forward to what's next! THANK YOU!! - CPT Hall, Leslie CPT AG! #humanresources #thankyou #inspiration #SoldierForLife #VeteranForLife #AlwaysASoldier #TransitioningServiceMember #Retirement
