Every baby hits developmental milestones at its own pace and that will depend on environmental factors. 🌟The developmental milestones that matter at these 15 months are guidelines that you should consider in light of your baby's personality. 📌#1: Language Use Grows Beyond “dada” and “mama,” your little one will start referring to familiar objects, such as your family pet or a favorite toy. 💬 Your baby will also begin to understand that things are used for specific purposes. As his/her comprehension improves, your 15-month-old baby will be able to follow simple instructions given with both a word and a gesture. 🙌🏻 📌#2: Muscle Development Babies who have adequately developed torso and leg muscles will start venturing around your house via foot. They may start climbing onto furniture or stairs. At this age, babies learn to use their fingers and hands more purposefully. Developing spatial reasoning skills and increased dexterity allows your little one to stack blocks, play sorting games, and attempt to feed himself/herself with small utensils. 💫 📌#3: Shows Preference As your baby develops, his/her preferences become less and less ambiguous.
