Usually, I’m behind the scenes, letting the spotlight shine on others, while bringing others along and amplifying those voices. So when these moments happen, I don’t take them for granted and appreciate the flowers given on the journey. There’s been plenty of sleepless nights, barely any days off and even more interrupted (and missed) vacations, birthdays, and anniversaries. But I’m beyond proud to have a super understanding and supportive system of family, friends, team members, co-workers, and colleagues that continue to make visions come to life for collective wins for us all. Extremely blessed to have a partner, Victor, that understands, gets it, and encourages me to find solutions, lead in equity, and discover new things.
