having retreated to vermont for the month, i am reflecting on the bliss of my opening weekend at @nightgallery. tbh, since then, i have been too stricken by exhibition postpartum to do things like get out of bed and brush my teeth (how do fellow artists deal w this?) and i have had visitations from old demons i thought i had walked away from, emissaries bearing the crimes of my past. nonetheless: in revisiting these images, i feel happy, loved, and cautiously hopeful for my future in relation with my loved ones, my work, and myself 🥹 i am grateful for the people who make the unsimple decision to love me. now i am going to spend the next few weeks in the woods allowing myself to do nothing except watch gossip girl and eat chocolate. 💋
