The @fifaworldcup has kicked off! In 1930, the first U.S. World Cup squad included several naturalized citizens. Among them was English-born defender George Moorhouse (top row, 3rd from right), who later went on to captain the team. Moorhouse and his teammates were inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1986.
