Dear @carolvorders - I wanted to let you know, that as a 48-year-old woman who left a marriage in pursuit of her own happiness, thank you for your thrilling honesty on @thismorning. I salute you, your abs, your “special friends”, your decision to never get married again. But most of all, I love your bravery and openness. Women over 40 aren’t ‘past it’, there are many more chapters to experience. I’ve experienced a fair few myself, and now feel freed and liberated from societal expectations (and self imposed ideals of what makes a family). YOU’RE 62!
