1️⃣4️⃣ years ago I lied to my mom and road-tripped six hours to spend New Years with my “friend” Drew! We consumed a lot of cheap champagne that night and he asked me to be his girlfriend...🍾 Then, he didn’t remember doing that the next day! 🤪 I always dated a bit but had never had an actual boyfriend before and I remember saying to him, “It feels so weird to say that I have a boyfriend!” He replied with, “You do?”🤦🏻‍♂️ I hung up and told him to call me back when he remembered. Ten minutes later my phone rang! It wasn’t the most romantic way to start our lives together but honestly, it’s hilariously us. It’s wild how much life we’ve navigated together and all that we’ve experienced since that new years! This year we’ll be celebrating with no champagne, an evening sauna while watching the baby monitor and being in bed by 9:30! Wow, times have changed, but I’m so grateful to evolve along side of this guy! 🥹 Ps. For the record, he is the more annoying one! 🤣
