In September @nba2k approached me about making an alternative cover for BTIII. Due to the games E rating we couldn’t use the car crash from the original cover by Sam Spratt. Originally I wanted to do something that looked like an NBA logo. Similar to the Raptors or Zang’s Celtics logo. Ultimately I felt it was too on the nose and I wanted something that could tell a story with the original cover. The zomboy cover felt more like a Jersey design rather than an album cover (2nd slide). The final design was inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, which felt more fitting for a Bobby Tarantino cover
