When talking over a possible collab with @copperunion one of the first pieces I said I wanted was a fun layering shirt. I love clothes and want to truly enjoy all of my clothes. Some clothes are statement pieces - they are the really fun ones to buy. Others are the pieces that make the statement pieces more flexible. In trying to keep my wardrobe at a manageable size (beyond the practical considerations of having very limited closet space, I also am trying to be mindful of the broader impacts of mass consumerism), I get frustrated when a large portion of my clothes can't be worn once the weather changes. But when you have a larger body it can sometimes be these really practical pieces that can extend your wardrobe that can be hard to find. So @copperunion and I made a few undershirts to layer under items of clothing as seasons change (as I'm wearing today) or as a lightweight top on its own in warmer weather (pic two was me on my honeymoon a few weeks ago). I'm very excited about wearing these with my sweaters in the winter to add some pop to my outfits and increase the wears I can get out of my limited sweater collection before I get bored. The first of these shirts - this delightful stretch sheer polka dot - will be available at @copperunion tomorrow! All from dead-stock materials to keep the environmental impact as low as possible.
