For years, @colbertlateshow has given so many of us a humorous escape in the midst of turbulent times. @stephenathome is also good people. Compassionate. Charitable. And a hell of an interviewer. His was the first late night show I ever did. He was kind and welcoming and funny as hell. I know he will have a great next chapter. The cream always rises to the top.
