⚠️Did you know 40% of American women are 5’3 or shorter and almost 25% of American women are 5’1 or shorter. That’s means almost 65% of American women are petite yet we see little to no representation in the media or in the fashion industry and most of us struggle to shop for clothes that fit well and are made for our different shapes. In Europe, the average height of a woman is 5’5, so why are we still seeing a shortage of women who look like us on runways, television, advertising and such? Why aren’t designers making clothes for us? ⁉️This is why it’s so difficult for models who are #petiteandcurvy to get booked, signed, and directly correlates negative mental health thoughts within ourselves. I know for me: I tried to slim down to a “standard petite” size because I knew I’d never grow taller. But during my fitness journey I learned that I’m meant to be thick, curvy, and I’m beautiful as is. So let’s spark some change. Let’s create some noise. Because we aren’t going anywhere. 🗣#PetiteCurveMatters
