this isnt talked about enough - sometimes you loyalty to family ends up sacraficing your sense of self. growing up in a Asian/Latino household there was always this expectation of putting up with abuse because it was family. I hope that more of us challange this and set new standards for ourselves and the people in our lives. we deserve better
