LAST DAY Of 'Paper' by David Horan Come for the last day of the show 📍Gallery 3, 4 Cromwell Place, Brompton. @cromwellplace Open until 4pm — ‘Paper’ is the inaugural furniture and lighting collection of London-based designer David Horan, who formerly cut his cloth with Faye Toogood and Michael Anastassiades before opening his own studio in 2021. Designed exclusively with Béton Brut gallery, the collection sees Horan as a modern decoupeur, applying his material to an original series of works: a daybed, seating, a coffee table and lighting. Informed by French craft traditions of decoupage and the Japanese Mingei movement, Horan innovates with layering handmade paper to create a new applied ‘vegan vellum’ and ‘dragon skin’.
